Well, it's Wednesday morning. Halfway through the week. And so far, this has been a boring week. Wednesdays are SUCH long days, class-wise. I hate em. Oh well, huh?
This morning the fire alarm went off in our building at around 8:30. It was SO annoying!!! Fire trucks came and turned it off quickly, though, so I was glad for that. I just couldn't get back to sleep that well, though. And then when I get up to shower, my roomate tells me there's no hot water. But who am I to listen, huh? ;) I NEEDED to have a shower. I felt so gross from yesterday. It wasn't that cold either, kinda luke-warm. Colder water is better for your skin and hair anyways. I should take more colder showers.
Time to face the day.
Carpe Diem.

Wow, it's been SUCH a long week. Let's see if I can recap some of the more interesting events.
Wednesday went by pretty much non-eventful. The season finale of The Simple Life was pretty funny. The girls never did get that threesome with Justin.....*LOL*
Thursday was an awesome day. I had to go to class early to attend the big meeting about which groups won the big group thing we did back awhile to re-design the college's main entrance in C building. Our group was picked as one of the 5 finalists. I was SO shocked, but totally jazzed. We each got prizes, too! Names were drawn out of a hat to pick up prizes out of a stack of stuff bought from the bookstore. I got Healthier Cooking for Dummies. I'll prolly never use it in my life, but books are always kewl. In my design class I got ANOTHER happy surprise. My house I spent SO long on got a A!!! I was SO glad cause of all the work I put into it. Thursday night I went over to Sarah's and hung out at her place. It was fun. I met Cel's new bf, Arun (totally nice guy) and slept on her couch cause I didn't want to take the busride.
Friday I woke up in time to get home and get to my AutoCAD class. I missed Color Theory but it was no big deal. I stayed after class for a few hours to work on the project we have due next week. When I got back my sister and Erin were waiting to take me grocery shopping. I had NO idea they were coming cause Meghan fell asleep before she could tell me. I was nice to see my sis and Erin.
Saturday was SO uneventful. I pretty much worked on my Art History project all day and nothing else. Meghan and Laurie were gone so I was all by myself.
Today Meghan and Laurie got back and I'm still working on my project. Only difference today is I stopped to do laundry! *YAY* *LOL*

Well, my OSAP came in today, which was great. I got some stuff I desperately needed, like a rockin new frying pan since my last one was crap. I also bought some nice new bamboo shoots and a funky vase to put em in. I think I'm obsessed with bamboo now. My parents started it with that Christmas gift of theirs! *LOL*
I just also spent the last hour doing research on universal design for a class project. It's all about designing for everyone. The elderly, people with disabilites (wheelchairs and crutches) and even children and young adults. It's all very interesting. I found an AWESOME site with great info and tips, and I printed SO much out. I've got like, a book for Thursdays class. And I'm not even DONE yet! It almost almost maxed out the rest of my black ink cartridge, so I'll prolly need a new one before I print out anymore stuff.
Thank god for OSAP!
Now, things would be even more awesome if I got a job. Somewhere fun, like Rogers Video.

Well, I got back from my little getaway earlier this afternoon and I'm already dreading class tomorrow. Drafting is horrible enough, but we have to do this big long in-class assignment. Ah well, at least this time I don't have to hike my ass to Gilmore's to get it printed out this time.
And I have ear infections, too. They hurt all last week and I thought that's what it could be, but I wasn't sure. I did get some ear drops over the weekend, though. They've made my ears feel better.
I just hate that the cold is coming back mid-week *argh*

Well, AutoCAD class is coming to an end. I'm really happy with the mark I got on my last assignment. I got a 15 out of 15! ROCK ON! This class is SO easy. I'm glad I've got at least one.
I'm gonna go back to the home and then mom's gonna come pick me up for the weekend. I'm REALLY dreading going outside cause it's such an icebox out there. I hate it :(
BUT, I'm getting out of Ottawa for the weekend, so that makes me happy.

Today was, I think, THE longest class day in awhile. I should've just stayed home and finished my house up. Class was just so long and arduous. I have a little bit of a headache and I'm really tired. The walk home from class was fun, too. It hasn't been this cold is a while and I completely froze.
Ah well, I'm home now, and I'm warming up and the only thing I have to do tonight is finish up my house and have it ready for presentation tomorrow. I don't have hardly anything left to do to it, but it'll prolly take me a few hours anyways.
I should get started on it now, but my head is still sore.
Can't wait for the weekend.....

It's Tuesday morning and I'm sitting here packed for class and ready to go, cept I don't have to leave for about another 10 minutes. I'm so tired. I only have English today, but then I have to wait around in the ol' OSAP line. Or, on chairs. Thank god for chairs....
I need to finish up some things on my house, too. The roof is on now so that leaves me with putting the floor in, which should go easy after getting a tip from girls in class, then putting the furniture in and then fixing up the balcony.
After that, it's just touch-ups with the gouache and I'm done.
Oh, and in between all this fun I gotta fix my resumee.

I've only got the roof to do. Well, the roof and the interior, but the interior is easy, and I can't do it until I get the right paper.
If only I could think of a way to make the roof look kewl, but be REALLY easy to make.....

Even with a cold, I still can't not feel good listening to cool music. I saw a commercial earlier today about Coyote Ugly being on CityTV tomorrow night, so I felt nostalgic and I'm now listening to the soundtrack. Man, I loved that movie. Still love it, actually. C'mon, it had Tyra Banks in it, what else could you ask for? She's so cool.
As for the damn house, I got the last of the exterior on it and all the windows in. I can't really do much more with it cause it's got tape holding the joints so the glue sets right.
Tomorrow, I tackle the roof. THAT should be fun.
Yeah.......riiiiiight......

Ugh, this stupid house is going to be the death of me. I went to work on it again, but I had to partially rebuild a bit of it cause for some stupid reason, there was a big sag in a layer of the foamcore so some of the walls were warped. That pissed me off royally.
Then on top of that, I think I'm getting a cold. My throat feels SO raw and my nose won't stop running. I should be working on my house right now, but I just feel like crap. I'm gonna go to bed. Maybe I'll feel more creative tomorrow.
Thank god this thing isn't due until next Thursday.

Wow, it's been awhile since my last blog. Why you ask? Well, for one thing, (and I'll admit it) I was too lazy to type any damn thing in here. Well, apparently, keeping some sort of diary is therapeutic, so I'm gonna try my ass off to write in this thing more often. Well, what's happened since November 6th...... Hmmm.......
I quit my job at Michael's and haven't regretted it an ounce. Unfortunately I haven't found another job yet, but I wasn't really trying anyways.
My second semester is what's happening right now. Well, once I get back from the Holiday break. The three weeks I had before the break felt like three months. Hopefully, it'll feel alittle quicker in the new year.
And speaking of the new year, it's an hour and a half into it and it still feels like the sucky crap fest that was 2003. Maybe it's cause I didn't do anything for it. As for 2003, sure the year had a lot of milestones, like graduation, starting college, and moving, but it was one of those years that just when you thought things were going good, you got kicked back down again. It blew.
That's what's so great about this new year. 2004 is an even number, so that's better right from the start. I usually have a bad year when they're odd-numbered. It's like the Star Trek movie curse. It's also the year that I'll be turning 22, which is my lucky number. And since I'm turning 22, my birthday will be on Good Friday again. I was born on Good Friday and my birthday lands on it every 11 years. Pretty cool, huh?
I don't have any concrete resolutions per se, but I'm gonna try to make this new year a lot better than the last one.
