Today's Saturday and my first week of classes are over. The strange thing is, I don't think I really dislike any of my classes. Usually I'd be going, "Oh, I'm going to dread next whatever day," but not now. All my classes are really kewl. Even the ones I thought I would hate turned out to be really fun and interesting. The assignments are very interesting to do, as well. No more boring art class, decorate this decorate that crap.
The only thing that's been bothering me is that the teachers keep changing our schedule so now I'm thoroughly confused. Thank god Shay has been keeping track of it all.... Oh, and there's no cute guys in my class. Well, unless I count Dean, he has got that big doofy thing going on. I say he's straight, but Shay thinks otherwise.
Today I'm gonna spend some time in the city with my mom and then I'm going back out to Finch to spend the long weekend with my family. Right now I'm about to get in the shower, but I'm listening to a little Madonna first :)

Man, I've been domestic today! After I got back from class I took a nap cause I was exhausted, but then I got down to cleaning the apartment. I just hate a dirty living space. There was SO many dishes to do and I wanted to clean the kitchen floor, and clean the stove too. The stove wasn't too bad, but when I went to do the bathroom, that was gross. Bathrooms are just gross places, but it doesn't help when you roomate loses hair like crazy. It's everywhere!!!! I think my cat loses less hair than she does.
But now dinner is in the oven. I'm making chicken :) When that gets done, I'm gonna go over to Meg's to watch Big Brother 4.

I just got back from my little vacation to Deep River before school starts and it's kewl to get away, but it's really nice to get home again. At least here I can listen to music since my CD player is going schizo on me. I guess it works when it wants to now after all the things I've put it through. It's been dropped, kicked, saturated by Pepsi and all kinds of other things. I guess I should still be thankful it works after all that! But, now I'm home and home is where all my stuff is. I guess I can start calling my apartment home now. That still feels a bit weird.... Anyhows, I'm really excited to get classes started tomorrow and start meeting all my classmates. It's gonna be SO much fun learning all this new stuff. As for right now, I'm going to go take a shower cause I didn't want to take one at my grandma's this morning cause her water pressure is CRAZY! It feels like the water is boring through your skin. It's quite painful.

Well, let's see....if my last post was Part 1 of me moving in, I'm pretty sur I'm about at Part 6 or so *LOL* I'm all moved in and everything in working great. I haven't got cable yet, but I'll get it soon. High Speed Internet is great enough right now that I don't need TV....yet. High Speed ROCKS!!!! I LOVE it! I downloaded my first music video yesterday, Madonna's "Express Yourself." Since then, I've gotten a bunch more stuff and even download Jewel's new CD in about the time it took for me to download ONE song back in Finch!!! As far as the job search goes, I didn't get the job at HomeSense which totall sucked, but I'm not without hope. I had an interview yesterday at Home Outfitters. Working there would be even more awesome than HomeSense!!! The store is SO kewl and they start you out at 8 bucks an hour!!! I REALLY REALLY hope they call on Monday or Tuesday. I'm eager to get a job.
Class starts Monday too! And I'm SO happy that my first class isn't until noon on Mondays so I can sleep in, which I desperately need to do on most Mondays.
Living in Ottawa rocks!!!!!!

Well, today was what I like to call Part I of my moving into Ottawa. I went in with as much stuff as I could, I got my keys and everything and I moved some of my stuff in. I didn't even see Shay cause she had to leave for work before I even got there. I'm glad she got a job at Micheal's. That place is really kewl. As far as my job search goes, while I was in Ottawa I got a call from Home Sense (*excited*) but they didn't leave a message. I called back but the chick that called me, Kim, was apparently gone and I have to call back tomorrow. It's obviously for an interview, but I wonder when it's gonna be and more to the point, I wonder if I'll get the job. Working there would be SO awesome, though. It's an awesome store and it's within walking distance, which is awesome!
If I get the job, I hope I don't have to start on Monday, cause that's when my uncle's girlfriend Kathy's birthday party in Petawawa. It might sound like something it wouldn't be a shame to miss, except Kathy lives in the Phillipines and she's going back the 15th! Plus, it'd be great to see the rest of my family. Maybe I could start Tuesday, who knows?
It all does depend on whether I get the job, though.
I hope I do.
