Well, I've decided that my blog needed a new look. I like this one better. It's so cubic :)

Man, I haven't posted in like, three days! What's wrong with me? *LOL* Well, Caroline's mom won't even consider going to see the big blue dress. She's such a bitch. Caro's upset about it, but either she's taking it really well, or she's not showing it. Myself, I'm really happy. I got to sleep in today cause I didn't go to school. There's a hockey game in the afternoon that I didn't want to go to and in the morning, I had Spare and Computers, so it wasn't a big loss. I can get more accomplished at home, anyway. And on top of being able to sleep in, I know I'm going to get $250 from Income Tax, so that's frickin awesome. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to do with it, too. I'll probably buy a new printer, seeing as mine is becoming obsolete. Then I think whatever I have left over, I'll buy clothes, cause I'm in dire need of new ones. The only bad thing about the money is that I have to either wait weeks to get it, or if I go the H&R Block way, they take 45 bucks! I think waiting is the better option.
Must See TV last night was pretty much all reruns, so I was happy for that. I've been working like a slave AGAIN on Yearbook pages. But at least these ones, I can do with the computer program *thanks god*

Well, today was a really fun day. I went looking around for prom dresses with Caroline and Sarah. It was kinda useless that I went with, seeing as I don't need to find one, but I was invited along, so it was nice :) There are some UGLY dresses out there! Like, isn't the point of wearing the dress supposed to be to look nice? Well, I got to see Sarah in the one she found and she looks really great. Blue is definitely her color. Caroline found a few really nice dresses, but the last one she found was her fave. Three words: big, blue, and pouffy. The thing is HUGE! It's a gorgeous dress and she looks awesome in it, but the diameter of it must be 3 feet! The only problem is, it costs $500!!!!! To me, that's crazy. But, I could see how important it is to the girls.
Tonight, I watched a really great episode of Buffy, too. It centered mostly around Andrew and him killing Jonathan and everything. It was so sad. It was SO obvious that he felt more guilt because he was really in love with him. I thought they were going to get all intimate when they were in bed together *LOL* Doesn't that just sound like a given whenever two people are in bed with each other? I was just happy they gave Tom Lenk, the actor that plays Jonathan some more screen time. He's really funny. He reminds me of a worse version of my geekiness. If I ever met him, I'm sure I'd have a huge crush on him.
Anyways, I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna head to bed.

Gah, you know what I'm tired of seeing on tv every commercial break?
Tampon and Viagra commercials!!!! They're just so WEIRD! I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who doesn't want to hear "Thanks girlfriend, that tampon you gave me fit like a dream!" And NOW they have ones with girls that look like they're 10 years old! I don't want to see someone as old as my little cousin telling me how great they feel after they pop in a Tampax, thank you very much As for the Viagra commercials, good on the men who can now get hard-on's, but in the real world, the entire city wouldn't break out in song and dance and there wouldn't be no "Penile Pride" parade, either.
The whole thing borders on the freakish. Geez, M&M's commercials make more sense! And they have computer generated chocolate creatures interacting with celebrities!!!

I'M OVER MY COLD!!!!!!! Thank god.......
I went to school on Friday, still feeling a little crappy but that's cause I had to pick up the school's digital camera to take some pictures at the Rideau Center on Saturday for my portfolio. And damnit, I couldn't get the one I really wanted of the Godiva chocolate store. The guy said it was a PR thing. Ah well, I got some good shots inside Chapters. And then we grabbed some Cinnabons and Take-Out Chinese from Lucky House, THE best Chinese food place in Ottawa. It was a good day after four days of feeling like roadkill *laughs*.
Today, I'm just relaxing. No homework, so I'm gonna prolly gonna work on my portfolio and clean my room. Oh, and I'm even happier now cause I made myself a new Dom wallpaper for my computer. I was stuck with that stupid XP Hill wallpaper, so it's a happy change. One of the pics I spliced into it was this one. Isn't he just so cute?

Remember that cold I had said I thought I was getting. Man, is this one time I wish I was wrong. I have SUCH a bad head cold right now. The only thing I can compare it to would be that my head feels like a boulder, stuffed with snot and EVERY little sound is magnified to a really high degree. I feel so useless cause I barely have enough energy to roll out of bed (which is where I spent the majority of my day) and I need to be at school and not missing any classes. I hope this clears up by Friday cause I can't miss the rest of the week of school.
And the worst thing about all of this is that everything bothers me or gets on my nerves. I have like, no patience for anything. Not even myself. I tried to make some toast and that didn't even turn out right so I got all pissed and hit the counter. And the only THING in this world to give me sympathy is my cat. Now it sounds like I'm whining. I HATE THAT!!!!!! Oh well, it's not like anybody cares what I think anymore. It's like I'm a big annoyance to them or something.
Ah, who the fuck cares. It's not like anyone reads this, anyway. I should be used to it by now.

I'm going to bed.

Man, there is NOTHING on TV tonight! I suppose I could pay more attention to stupid Joe Millionaire, cause it's on in the background, but I really don't care. They'll just end up divorced anyway, LIKE ALL THE OTHERS!!!!
Freezing in my sister's car Saturday night has given me a cold, or at least I know I'm starting one. Whenever I'm getting a cold, my throat tastes like sandpaper and I hate it. I have no appetite, and when I do, the food tastes like newspaper (I'm assuming it's dry, too). But, one good thing comes out of this. I sleep like the dead and I have the coolest dreams. Like, last night I dreamnt I was a big successful Interior Designer living in downtown LA and I had THE kewlest loft apartment. No boyfriend ever popped up, but I was designing Elijah's Wood's new apartment and he really liked the CD wall I came up with cause he has like millions of em'.
I think I'm gonna go to bed early tonight cause my cold pills are making me wobbly.....

Ah, it's been an interesting weekend. I actually did stuff on this one!
Last night, I went to the movies with Erin, Caro and my sister. They went and saw their movie, so I saw Daredevil by myself. I was alone, but oh well, I do most things alone. Even though most everyone (critics 'specially) said "skip it," I really liked it. It was a "superhero" movie, but not like every other one. None of the characters was really stand out, but they went well as an ensemble. I was glad they kept to the comics concerning what Bullseye does to Elektra (those in the know get what I mean), but I didn't like how little kick-ass time Elektra got. Like, one minute she's just some chick, and then for about 10 minutes she's whooping ass. Gotta give props to Jen Garner for workin' those sais, too. My favourite part of the night was getting to see the extended preview for this summer's X-Men 2. It looks like it's totally gonna kick ass. Iceman gets more of a part (awesome cause the actor who plays him is cute, too) and Nightcrawler and Lady Deathstrike look fucking awesome! Crawler's teleporting effect looks great on the big screen.
It was also a kinda coincidence that I saw some preview posters for The Matrix Reloaded and I just finished watching The Matrix on the New RO. The sequels are gonna rock!
Needless to say I'm looking forward to the movies this summer :)

Semi formal last night was okay, I guess. It was nice to do something other than stay at home watching tv, but I kinda missed watching the tv, you know? At least the music was good.
I stayed home from school today, cause I was just SO damn exhausted. It's been a rough week, with a lot of things dwelling on my mind. I got up this morning, and started up the shower and just thought "I can barely keep myself standing. Screw this, I'm going back to bed...."
The new Survivor last night was kinda interesting. We've got the group of girls that don't know how to do anything and are all scared of the spiders and we've got the typical group of Frat Boys, who talk about nothing but how great they are and how much they want to screw the girl's team. Not even an obvious gay guy in the bunch :( Although "Rocket Scientist" Dave is pretty hot, he just seems to full of himself.

I'm feeling better than yesterday *yay* but I'm still really tired and I have to go to the Semi Formal tonight to sell stuff for prom. It totally sucks. I guess I'm gonna have to set my VCR to tape all the great shows I'm gonna miss. At least I'll be there with Caro. I think I'd pass out with shear boredom if someone wasn't there with me.
Thank god it's last class. I'm so tired, and just now starting to warm up. Holy crap this school is freezing.

Man, this has been a really crappy week. I'm talking about it cause I don't feel so good right now, stomache wise and it's put me in a bad mood. I really just feel like shit, but at least I got my Math assignment finished tonight, a day early :)
I also checked out my buddy Meg's blog and it's kewl that the apartments across from Res are nice. I'll have to ask her about them next time I talk to her.
I think I'm gonna go to bed now, cause I just want to lay down and pass out.....

I'm am so fed up with Yearbook right now, it's not funny. Well, more like the people. Not the people that have been with me actually DOING things, but the others that showed up for a few meetings, and never came back again. Namely all the DAMN PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!! I would take it upon myself to take pictures, but I don't have a camera or money to buy one. And THEN on top of that, the fucking library decides to screw around with the computers! And right when the Jostens woman comes to our school to help us out with the program and making pages. I just wanted to scream. Or punch thos stupid tech guys gutting all the computers like no one needs them anyway. Fuckers.
Man, I'm in a swearing mood now.........
On a positive side, I'm doing well in my Math class. For once I'm actually getting it, and not getting all freaked out. It's a breeze course compared to some of the stuff my friends are taking, and that kinda makes me feel like a dumbass, but I'm doing good, so I'm proud.
TV was good tonight, too. Interesting Buffy episode. Nice trick how the writers made the new principal the son of an old slayer. One of the two that Spike killed. It was like the most freakiest coincidence. And watching Andrew be all cute and geeky is a bonus any night. What do you guys think, is he cute?
He's the kinda guy I'd go out with, cause I'm a geek too. I think that's my ideal guy type. Cute, but not in a gorgeous sort of o way, and unique. Interesting characteristics like big ears or a funny laugh are nice. Geeks are more fun, too. I have more in common with em'.

Ugh, I feel SO unbelievably crappy right now. It's Spare and I have no one to talk to cause everybody else has stuff to do elsewhere and Caroline drove home before I could even say hi. And I wanted to talk to her to see how her day went, too. Oh well.....
I feel like the proverbial rubber band being stretched all out of proportion. I haven't had a chance to just do something fun in a while. Walking around the Byward Market with Meghan was fun, but I didn't have any money to buy anything, so that made my mind worry about about a job and so on.... As much as I hated my job, I liked my life before. I've traded in those problems for others and I'm not even getting paid for these ones, which totally bites.
I just gotta make it through the rest of the semester....

Ugh, I finished my Tintern Abbey essay for English class. I think it's pretty shitty, but it's the best I could come up with.
Earlier, I watched Degrassi:The Next Generation. I feel like such a kid for watching the show, but it's interesting. I was totally shocked that Marco is gay now. I'll be watching to see how that whole thing turns out.
I didn't do anything for my portfolio this weekend. I just AM NOT in an artsy mood. I should put some real interest in it in coming weeks, though......

I'm back, and my computer is pretty much back to normal, music and all. I didn't post a blog yesterday because my dad was on call so naturally he needed the phone all day. And typical, they didn't call him. So anyways, I had the most incredibly boring day yesterday. I tried to work on the English essay due tomorrow, but my brain wouldn't work right, so I just sat around and watched tv all day.
The only interesting thing that happened yesterday is that my sister finally bought herself a drum set. Costing close to a thousand bucks, no less. Ah well, it's her money. Although I'm kinda bitter about it cause I don't have a job right now and I miss buying things when I did.
I also had THE sweetest dream last night. For some strange reason, I can remember my dreams more vividly than my friends! Bonus, huh? In my dream, I was living in Ottawa in an apartment which looked almost identical to my friend Erin's old apartment. I guess it was the only reference material my brain could come up with. Anyways, I gave a new friend a place to stay cause he just got kicked out of his apartment and he wasn't from around here, so he didn't know what to do. I don't know why I did this in my dream. Probably cause he was British and adorable. He looked VERY much like Dom, and it could have been a dream version of him, cept in my dream, his name never came up. But anyways, moving along.... In the dream, I had this AWFUL cold, so I was pretty much a sniffling pile of mush. The dream guy took care of me cause I gave him a place to stay. It was so sweet :) I can remember (from the dream) he could only make me chicken noodle soup cause he wasn't too good at cooking. But we got to know each other and one morning, after falling asleep with him on the couch, it turned out he thought I was cute, sniffles and all, and asked me out. It was a total shock cause I thought he was straight, but it was funny cause I still had the cold and couldn't go anywhere with him. But he had to go to work, and that's when I woke up.
It was pretty nice. It wasn't a sex dream at all, it was just.......nice.
The last time I had a really great dream like that was when I had one in which I met this really great guy in a Tim Horton's and we spent the day together.
Nice dreams are a change from what I've been having lately. My last few memorable dreams involved battling Jurassic Park dinosaurs in the Museum of Civilisation in Hull! Yeah, it was scary. In my dream, I saw a raptor rip my friend Sarah's arm off. Suffice it to say, I woke up in cold sweats.

Well, that's enough dream talk for now.

Yeah, I'm nice and happy now. Friday nights are awesome cause I can watch the Hetty Wainthropp Mysteries. Why do I love such a show, you ask? Well, it was Dom Monaghan's first acting job, and he was really a cutie when he was my age. And watching a show where everyone has accents like his is a blast. Plus, Hetty is played by Patricia Ruthledge! Bonus! Those who don't know who she is, look her up, watch some of her work, she's an awesome actress.
PLUS I got my computer problems fixed! Kick ass!!!!! Now I can get all my music back on to my harddrive with a minimum of fuss.
Even though I have to do some homework over the weekend, I'm looking forward to it. I totally need to relax.

Mood: Content and Cheery.

Music: "Pedal To The Medal" by Kazzer. Download this song people, it RULES!!!! Plus the lead singer is kinda cute. That's always nice!

I just talked to the teacher about my scrolling problems in Internet Explorer, so I might be on my way to solving the problem, cause it's bugging the hell out of me!!!!!

• • • • •

I'm on spare right now, talking to Marie about Brave New World. That novel was SO XXXXed up, it was funny to talk about it again. Orgy Porgy and soma..... *LOL* It still makes me laugh.
I'm not looking forward to the weekend, though. I'm gonna have to write an essay, and repair my computer some more. THAT sounds like fun. Ah well, it's not as worse as it could have been.

On the other side of things, I watched bits and pieces of the Micheal Jackson 20/20 thing last night. Man, that guy is misunderstood. He's just a big kid, and people make him out to be this weirdo. He's had a rough life, just give him a break people.

Mood: Contemplative

It's almost lunchtime and I want PIZZA!!! Thursday is pizza day at our school, and I'm hungry for it. I'm also pretty happy that I've got my computer all up and running. It's gonna take alittle bit to get my song files back to the way they were, but thankfully I've got them backed up on CD's :) It'll be my weekend project, I guess. Even though starting tomorrow, it's a monthlong countdown to my portfolio interview! Ahk!!!!

School is going okay, I guess. I'm not nearly as stressed as I was last semester, but then again, it's not even the second week, yet. English class looks like it's gonna be a ton of work, but I'm bril in that class so I'm not too worried. I have my first Math quiz at the end of today, too. I think I'll pass it pretty well. I hope....

I'm SO giggly right now, you have NO idea. I'm thinking of fake names for this matchmaker survey thing and so far I've got two. Chestie Heuters and Layla Spreadsalot.

Heehee, the yearbook meeting went okay, in case any of you were wondering. My stomache is better, too!

I'm getting my computer slowly back to it's former glory. I'm almost done reloading everything I had on it from before. Man, I'm still pissed about it. Ah well, what can you do, huh?
I watched American Idol tonight. I'm glad when it came down to blondie and the other girl, blondie didn't win (In case you're wondering, I can't remember their names *LOL*). I dunno, I just didn't like her as much as the other one.

I'm just happy tomorrow is Thursday and that means Will and Grace!

MAN I need a guy......

I'm in Computers class right now and my head feels very weird right now. Shayla gave me a pill to help my stomache and it's made me all high. I can do things, but my brain feels a little fuzzy. This is great for the Yearbook meeting in 15 minutes *LOL*

Ugh, Tuesday was like, THE worst day so far this year. The only one good thing was that I didn't have to go to school because of freezing rain. Other than that, the rest of the day was 100% pure CRAPPY!!!! I had a horrible stomache ache from eating KFC chicken. Then on top of that, my computer fries and Windows won't start so THAT was fun. I was forced to re-install Windows XP again over the old one, so all my files were wiped in the process :( It was a good thing all my songs were burned to CD's already and I didn't have too many important things saved on there.
Now I'm at school, and wishing it was Monday again when things weren't fucked up yet.

I even lost my awesome Desktop Wallpaper I made of Dom! *sad*

Mood: Ultra mucho pissed off at everything in general.

Time for bed soon. I'm so exhausted. I didn't take a nap when I got home, so I'm gonna pass out tonight for sure. I was happy tonight, though. My fave site The Bag-End Inn posted some new pics of Dom. In case no one knows, I have a HUGE crush on Dominic Monaghan, who plays the hobbit Merry in all three Lord of the Rings movies. He's the cutest. British, funny, and adorable smile. If only I could find a guy like him :)

Anyways, sweet dreams, peeps!

On the plus side, I've only got a little bit of homework from Math class!!!

I'm posting from school today. Second semester is allright, I guess. I'm not too stressed. Math is okay, English is pretty much like my last English class and I'm on spare right now. My next and final class of the day is some Computers class which I took over Biology *pukes*. I got lucky though, Caroline and Maggie are on my spare, so I'm not alone.
I hope this Computers class is easy, I don't want to have to think too much in the coming months when I'll be all stressed about college.
I'll be home soon, so I can take a nap, then.

Ugggh, today was really tiring, but the most fun I've had in awhile. Meghan and I walked around the Byward Market going into any store that looked kewl. I found a totally brilliant design store and it wasn't that cold out, so walking around outside was fine. There were SO many people around downtown Ottawa because of Winterlude, it was CRAZY!
I'm tired right now, but I'm not bothered by it because new term starts yesterday and I'm gonna end up going spacey anyway, so I should save my energy.

Who knows? Maybe I'll talk to some cute guy in Ottawa and I won't be the least bit nervous.....
